Classic Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Recipe

This is a stylish recipe that never goes out of fashion! It’s mouth-watering with normal pineapples. The yield is 9 servings.

1 cup baking flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecans (chopped)
 3 separated eggs
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1 can pineapples (sliced)
9 cherries
1 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
2/3 cup brown sugar

·         Preheat oven to 375°. Take a 9-in square baking pan and without greasing, pour the brown sugar and butter. Remove pineapples and put a side 1/3 cup juice. Over the sugar, arrange 9 pineapple slices in one layer. Take the pecans and sprinkle over the pineapples and keep aside.
·         In a medium bowl, beat egg yolks thoroughly and add sugar steadily as you continue beating. Mix vanilla and pineapple juice, add baking flour, salt, and baking powder and beat thoroughly.
·         Take a small bowl and beat egg white on high speed until firm peaks form, fold into the batter and spoon into pan.
·         Put in oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. Leave to stand for 15 minutes before removing on a platter. In each pineapple slice, place a cherry in the center. Enjoy!
